Mock Examinations arrangements for Y11
The assessments will be completed over a two-week period, commencing on Monday 5th February 2024 and finishing on Friday 16th February 2024
If a student is absent during one or more of their exams, they will be given an opportunity to sit the exam once they return to school.

Targeted Intervention Sessions
The teaching staff will be running a series of targeted intervention sessions after school on the week beginning on Monday 29th January 2024.
These intervention sessions will be made up of small groups and our teachers will be delivering the tutoring. Our staff know our curriculum the best and each session will focus on a particular core skill or concept to boost the students results. This kind of tutoring would cost around £40 per hour outside of school, so we are very fortunate to be able to fund it for you and your child.
Pupils will receive an individual timetable to attend specific subjects after school. The sessions will typically run from 3.00-4.00pm and attendance in mandatory. You will receive a text message or letter to let you know which subjects your child is expected to attend.
Staff will log attendance on an intervention tracker and pupils will receive snacks during their sessions. A new rewards system is also being launched which is directly linked to intervention attendance.
Can you please support the school to ensure your child attends their sessions. If for any reason, your child will not be able to attend these sessions, it would really help us to know why so we can make alternative arrangements.
